This book was recommended by a friend as a great pick for new adults (writers/readers) who love the thriller genre. Kim Briggs debut novel, And Then He. . . explores the dark side: Twenty-three year old Tiffani, a waitress and aspiring writer, is lonely since her boyfriend Drew is away at baseball camp for minor leagues. He chose to miss the class reunion, so Tiffani goes without him. At the reunion the sexual sparks fly between her and a member of the band--the red hot sizzling Jeb, who, as it turns out, was a former classmate for a short time. He's polite, he's thoughtful, he's rich and gorgeous. Plus, he looks out for her and protects her. But is Jeb everything he appears to be? Can Tiffani really trust him? Can she trust her boyfriend, Drew? Or his best friend? Or hers?

And Then He is a fast-paced thriller, but also a casebook for young women of what not to do in social settings. Sort of like what we were told as kids: Don't take rides or candy from strangers. I have a number of new adult friends who would devour this book!

Great, steamy, gut wrenching, and quick read!

Started it yesterday at 10am and I just finished it, couldn't put it down! Can't wait to read more from you!

All I can say is WOW
I have never read anything by this Author and I was stunned by how good this book is. It is very dark a woman's worst nightmare brought to life. I very seldom rate a book 5 star. It must really touch me emotionally.

A Chilling Read
And Then He is not a romance by any stretch of the imagination. It explores the psyche of a disturbed young man, who does his best to fulfill his twisted fantasies regardless of the repercussions they set up in the real world. The main character, Tiffani, is a naïve girl looking for love and her desperate need to be wanted plays right into Jeb's crazy.

Briggs has developed a long, chilling ride through torment, deprivation, and desire, and delivers a dark thriller with twists and turns that keep the reader turning the page. An excellent New Adult novel, from a determined young author, if you like dark thrillers, I highly recommend this one.
